Where would you like to die?

I was hyperlink-following and I came to the web of Drama Box. A local play and drama production organisationg. There's a play showing. And the tag line is 'Where would you like to die? In someone's embrace.'

Where would I like to die?

Honestly, no idea. I think on my own bed will be a nice place, with my faithful little bolster in my arms. But, I think it will add to the difficulty for my loved ones to get over my passing. I mean, I don't want, after my passing, for those who love me to look at my bed and see my cold, stiff body instead of a really nice bed for what it is.

In dramas, people like to depict beaches as the most romantic place to die. Of course, dramas make sure it's not just the beach. You gotta have the one you love be there, watching sunrise with you. Only that will complete the picture.

The victim in yesterday's CSI episode died in the garage of his girlfriend's house. Definitely not a glamorous place to die. Sometimes, the victims in CSI die in really cool places. Like a party of the rich and famous, or some carnival or (this one the most innovative) while sitting on a bench in the park and some Karate expert just sliced your neck with such a daft stroke that your head just remains in place, unconnected to the rest of your body.

For me, the river, sea, or any water body is the most unacceptable place to die. It won't help even if you throw tonnes of dumplings in to feed the fish so they won't nibble on me. It's not about the fish. I just think it's horrible to die drowned.

It's 9am on a Monday. Monday morbidity. Now, you tell me. Where else will be a nice place to die?
